How it works:
In August 2013, APT will hold a special invite tournament for the top 50% of our ranking poker players. Normal No Limit Texas Hold’em will be played, as per standard APT rules. Once the 21st player has been eliminated, the game will be paused. The remaining 20 players will play the Royal Flush Bonus Game on a seperate game show style set up, in front of a live “audience”. We will randomly select the order in which the contestants will play the bonus game.
For each contestant, there is a set of 20 sealed envelopes containing the 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace from each of the four suits (Clubs, Spades, Hearts, Diamonds)
Each contestant will choose 5 envelopes to make their hand. If there is a winning hand, as described in the schedule of prizes below, the contestant will win that prize. All potential winning hands must be verified by third party sponsor. Once verified, APT will pay out prize shown. If any more than 5 envelopes are opened for any one contestant, that contestant will be disqualified and ineligible to win.

The Fine Print:
There is a maximum of two possible prizes per winning hand. After two prizes have been paid out on a particular winning hand, APT will not be held liable for payment of any other prize for that hand. To clarify, if the first two contestants hit Royal Flushes, they will each win a car. That prize then, is no longer on the table for future contestants.
Employees, agents, successors, and assignees of the Alternative Poker Tour, its advertising agencies and promotional companies involved in this promotion, as well as family and household members of same, shall be ineligible to participate in the promotion and shall be ineligible for any prize covered herein. For clarity, poker hosts, venue/bar owners and employees CAN actually participate in the event.
Names and likeness of promotion winners may be used by APT and their designee for promotional purposes without further compensation.
All Payouts subject to verification and may take 14-21 days to be paid, although most pay outs usually occur within one week. Grand prize, Dream Car pay outs will be a total of $50,000. In the event APT has an exclusive sponsor contract with a particular auto broker or dealership, vehicle shall be purchased through them. If the vehicle cost is over $50,000, APT will not be liable for anything but the $50,000. If the value of the vehicle is less than $50,000, the winning contestant will receive a check for the remaining balance after the vehicle has been purchased, for a total of $50,000.
Winner is responsible for any tax penalties of the prize packages.
